Of all the drinks you might expect to be popular on the paradise island of Oahu, part of the Hawaii island chain, we’d wager that real ale would be low on the list of probabilities. More than that, Stout is a real hit – drunk widely and enjoyed very cold. We sent our producer, Johnny Mindlin, to Honolulu to see what’s what in the beery world of Hawaii.
